A record sale for a non-waterfront condo in South Beach
The top penthouse at Three Hundred Collins in Miami Beach sold for a record $5.8 million, or $1,845 per square foot, representing South Beach’s highest price-per-foot sale for a non-waterfront condominium.
The purchase is an upgrade from the Penthouse 2 sale in May that went for $5.1 million and initially set the same record at $1,890 per foot. Penthouse 1 was asking $6.45 million and Penthouse 2 is now back on the market for $5.5 million.
Penthouse 1 is larger of the two units, encompassing 3,150 square feet of interior space and 1,580 square feet of outdoor terrace space. It has three bedrooms, four bathrooms, a private elevator entrance, an open kitchen designed by Juul-Hansen, and smart home technology throughout.
The listing agents were Dina Goldentayer and Sladja Stantic of The DS Team at Douglas Elliman while the buyer was represented by Darryl Fox and Daniela Bonetti of One Sotheby's.
Amenities include a 75-foot rooftop pool and a hot tub, in addition to a fitness center and beach concierge program. The 19-unit JDH Development project is 85 percent sold and is expected to be completed this winter.
