Shyla and Eric Cline, founders and executives at the Rockford, Illinois-based timeshare company American Resource Management Group, just paid $6.4 million for a new waterfront spec mansion in Fort Lauderdale, property records show.

The 10,274-square-foot mansion at 2506 Barcelona Drive traded for about $623 per square foot. Records show the property was sold by a Fort Lauderdale-based company called Wayne Investments, led by Fiorenna and Aldo Israel.

Aldo Israel is a real estate developer who operates through his company Premier Home Builders, which builds luxury houses in South Florida. The homebuilder paid $1.6 million for the 13,933-square-foot lot in 2015, and started construction a year later, records show.

It hit the market last year in August with an asking price of $8.9 million, according to online listings. The home sold for a 40 percent discount off its original asking price, which was later reduced to $7.9 million.

The new, two-story, seven-bedroom and seven bathroom mansion features multicolored ceiling cove lights, marble and wood floors, a pool and a dock with views of the Intracoastal Waterway in the Seven Isles section of Fort Lauderdale.

Florida Panthers’ Aaron Ekblad recently paid $5.7 million for a nearby home. The three-story modern-designed house in Fort Lauderdale’s Las Olas Isles was also recently built.
