Publix coming to Manalapan retail center

Palm Beach Gardens-based Kitson & Partners began construction of a Publix supermarket as part of the redevelopment of the Plaza del Mar shopping center in Manalapan.

The 28,000-square-foot Publix store is expected to open in about a year and will serve as an anchor at Plaza del Mar. The Manalapan shopping center measures 102,715 square feet, and its tenants include Chico’s, Evelyn & Arthur, John G’s and The Ice Cream Club, according to Kitson’s website.
